Confirm Power
A tripped breaker or a GFCI outlet that's tripped are common reasons a machine looks completely dead.
Fix: Reset the breaker, then confirm the outlet works by testing it with another device.
Door or Lid Not Latched
Front-loaders won't start their cycle until the door lock engages with an audible click.
Fix: Push firmly on the door until it latches; if it never clicks shut, the lock mechanism likely needs replacing.
Control Lock or Delay Set
