Worn Door Gasket

A door seal that's hardened or torn lets water seep out the front during the wash.

Fix: Check the gasket over and replace it if it's cracked or flattened out.

Regular dish soap used by mistake creates a wall of suds that pushes its way out the door.

Fix: Only ever use detergent made specifically for dishwashers, never hand soap.

A leak coming from underneath the unit is usually a failed pump seal or a loose hose clamp.
