Let the Fridge Settle

Tilting a refrigerator on its side lets the compressor oil migrate into the cooling lines.

Fix: Stand it upright for several hours before plugging it back in after the move.

Transporting a front-loader without its shipping bolts installed can damage the internal suspension.

Fix: Reinstall the shipping bolts before the machine goes anywhere.
