Frigidaire Error Codes for Ovens & Fridges

Frigidaire and Frigidaire Gallery ranges display F-codes, while their refrigerators flash temperature alerts — here's the full rundown.

Frigidaire Oven Codes

  • F10: Runaway temperature — usually a sensor or relay issue.
  • F11: Shorted keypad.
  • F30/F31: Temperature probe open or shorted.

Frigidaire Refrigerator Alerts

  • High-temp alarm: Door left open, or a defrost system fault.
  • SY EF: Evaporator fan circuit fault.

Before You Call

F10 codes and probe faults will sometimes clear after a simple power reset.

Fix: Cut power for a minute; if the code returns, the sensor most likely needs to be replaced.
